STATEMENT OF FAITH
We Believe
The Scriptures: The Bible is the word of God, the creator and possessor of heaven and earth.
The One True Godhead. Our God is one, but manifested in three separate and distinct persons, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed and function as one.
Man's Fall & Redemption. Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, was created good and upright, but sinned against God. Through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world and death passed upon all men for that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Man's only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ.
The Salvation of Man. Salvation is a free gift from God to anyone who repents, believes the gospel, and receives and confesses Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. This is what is referred to as being Saved, the New Birth, Born Again, or Salvation.
Baptism in Water. Baptism in water is by immersion and is a public declaration and acknowledgement of repentance from sin and surrender to Jesus Christ to let him be Lord and Savior.
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God as promised by Jesus Christ to all believers and is received subsequent to the New Birth. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues and by the subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service.
Sanctification. The Bible teaches that God has called us to live holy lives that glorify and please Him. Sanctification is a definite, yet progressive work of grace in the believer, beginning at the time of the new birth and continuing until the time of Christ's return.
The Lord's Supper. The Lord's Supper serves as a reminder to us that we have a new covenant with God. Jesus Christ suffered the shame and humiliation of the Cross by shedding His blood and giving His body as a sacrifice for our sins. As often as we eat of the bread and drink of the cup we are signifying, proclaiming, and acknowledging that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, was raised from the dead, is alive now, and is coming again.
The Church. The Church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Holy Spirit. Every person who has received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior is a member of the Body of Christ, the Church.
Divine Healing and Prosperity. God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servants. This includes physical healing which is provided for in the atonement of Christ, and is the privilege of every member of the Body of Christ today.
The Return of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is coming again to gather His Saints to be with Him. Jesus said Behold, I come quickly. This is the Blessed Hope of the Church.
Hell and Eternal Damnation. Those who die in their sins without accepting Jesus Christ are hopelessly and eternally lost and will suffer eternal separation from God in a place called hell which was created for the devil and his angels according to the scriptures.
